Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Merseyside, who are recruiting for a Lettings Assistant on a temporary three-monthcontract.
The position is due to start in the New Year, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £21 via an Umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have experience in lettings, housing administration and be happy to process a basic DBS.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Processing mutual exchange requests
- Completing tenancy changes e.g. name changes and documentation changes
- Dealing with tenant Permission requests and ensuring the outcome is in writing to the tenant
- Provide expertise to front-facing teams and liaise with the Neighbourhoods team
- Holding responsibility for all garage lettings
- Being the initial point of contact for customer complaints
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience in successions, mutual exchanges, left in occupation and permissions
Rewards and Benefits:

Working hours:
- 37 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
