James Andrews are proud to be partnering with a family-run international manufacturing business that is now looking to appoint an Engineering Manager on a permanent basis. This will be a full-time position based on-site and in the Worcestershire region. The position comes with an attractive remuneration package and benefits, including a car allowance and company bonus scheme.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of engineering and leadership experience, alongside a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field. You will also be able to use AutoCAD or SolidWorks systems.

 Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading in the design, engineering and project delivery

  • Supporting the business through a hands-on approach in all engineering and product related activities

  • Managing and challenging the engineering process to meet tight deadlines

  • Implementing processes and procedures that comply with best practice

  • Working collaboratively with internal teams, customers and suppliers in ensuring products meet the expected standards and quality

  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards

  • Supporting in the continual improvement of the engineering and production processes   

 Experience required:

  • 2+ years of engineering and leadership experience

  • Experience of working within the manufacturing industry with additional preference in the automotive sector

  • Strong project management and communication skills

 Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Degree qualified in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ETAP, or similar tools

 Working hours:

  • 37 per week, Monday to Friday

  • Full time on-site
