Job description

We are currently partnering with a reputable charity based in North Somerset, who are recruiting for a Service Manager to join their redeveloped team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time position with a salary band of £32,577.00 - £44,075.00 per annum, and the start date is subject to notice.

This is a leadership role for an experienced manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred services that promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities (Summary):

  • Lead and manage day-to-day service delivery, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant support

  • Drive quality, inspection readiness, safeguarding, and continuous service improvement

  • Lead, develop, and support staff through supervision, coaching, and performance management

  • Maintain oversight of budgets, resources, and service sustainability

  • Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and commissioning bodies

Essential / Desirable Criteria:

  • Hold a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent), or be willing to work towards it

  • Proven experience managing adult services and leading teams

  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
