Job description

We are currently engaged in a collaborative partnership with a distinguished Local Government. In pursuit of excellence, we are actively seeking a Rough Sleeping Coordinator. This will be a full-time temporary position based in Gloucestershire.

Rate of £25 - £26umb (depending on experience) with working from home (hybrid) and access to regular training and making a difference in the community

Ideal candidate will have extensive experience of understanding Locata, has experience with complex needs and homelessness and provide support at hostels & temporary accommodations

Duties will include:

  • Liaising with support providers, external agencies, emergency services and signposting clients to relevant agencies

  • Orgainising outreach programs for community members who may experience homelessness or need help

  • Planning awareness campaigns for comunity issues, such as homeslessness and substance addition

  • Ensuring a responsive outreach service during severe weather emergency provision (SWEP)

  • Establishing professional and supportive relationships with those who are rough sleeping, new accommodating to identify and address their supports

  • Visiting hostles and temporary accommodations, to provide support to homesless people off the streests into Hubs and safety drop ins

  • Specialising skills to support trauma informed practices such as; mental health, substance misuse, anti-social and harmful behaviour

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
