Job description
Our client, based in Manchester, is currently recruiting for a Right-to-Buy Officer on a 3-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on Right-to-Buy cases and be knowledgeable on the legislation surrounding it.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing a backlog of Right-to-Buy applications and dealing with any new ones
Liaising with solicitors regarding contract for transfer
Using an eligibility checker to find out what discount’s tenants may be entitled to
Guiding applicants through the application process, ensuring compliance with regulations
Responsible for collecting financial information and the provision of reports
Investigating potential fraud cases
Determining any service charge and major work cases
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience working within the legal parameters of Right-to-Buy cases
Working hours:
36 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
3 days working from home
