Our client, based in Manchester, is currently recruiting for a Right-to-Buy Officer on a 3-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on Right-to-Buy cases and be knowledgeable on the legislation surrounding it.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a backlog of Right-to-Buy applications and dealing with any new ones

• Liaising with solicitors regarding contract for transfer

• Using an eligibility checker to find out what discount’s tenants may be entitled to

• Guiding applicants through the application process, ensuring compliance with regulations

• Responsible for collecting financial information and the provision of reports

• Investigating potential fraud cases

• Determining any service charge and major work cases

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working within the legal parameters of Right-to-Buy cases

Working hours:

• 36 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm

• 3 days working from home
