We are currently partnering with a professional property and construction consultancy, who are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their well-established team on a permanent basis in either their Surrey or Bournemouth office.

Our client is proud to provide services to a wide and varied range of clients in both the public and private sector, across London, the South Coast and the West Country.

This is a full-time position with a salary band of £50,000 – £75,000 DOE with the start date subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Working within the central south major works team with a focus on façade remediation works in addition to projects in the housing, commercial and education sectors
• Overseeing day-to-day project delivery to ensure quality and efficiency
• Establishing effective processes to be used over the course of the project
• Simultaneously managing a number of live projects at differing stages and to identify and plan for new work as required
• Chairing and minuting project, design and client meetings
• Undertaking contract administration duties particularly JCT Contracts

Experience required:

• Degree educated & ideally with relevant professional qualification (MRICS or MCIOB) or on the path to achieving this
• Minimum of five years of practical experience in a similar position
• Worked on projects with values between £1m-£20m
• Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary organisation

• Commercial awareness

Working hours:

• Monday – Friday
• 8:30am – 5:00pm
