We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in South Manchester, who are recruiting for a Plumber on a temporary three-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £23 via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out responsive plumbing works, including changing taps, sinks, dealing with blockages and bathroom fitting.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out responsive plumbing repairs and maintenance across occupied social housing properties
• Diagnosing faults on domestic plumbing systems including pipework, taps, toilets, baths, sinks, and waste systems
• Attending emergency call-outs to resolve leaks, blockages, and water system failures
• Identifying root causes of plumbing issues and implementing effective long-term repairs
• Liaising with tenants to arrange access, explain works being undertaken, and ensure a high standard of customer service
• Completing minor multi-skilled works associated with plumbing repairs, including basic tiling and making good
• Recording completed works, materials used, and follow-on repairs through internal job management systems
• Identifying additional repair needs during visits and raising follow-on works where required
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with health and safety regulations and organisational procedures
