Job description
We are currently working in partnership with an emerging for-profit housing management organisation who are looking to appoint a Leasehold Officer on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position based in Oxted, which is office based with one day home working per week and a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of providing leasehold services to residents and have knowledge of RTB, RTA and staircasing as well as lease extensions.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing a patch of around 200 leasehold properties
Assisting the team with Right to Buy and Right to Acquire enquiries
Providing advice on staircasing
Carrying out lease extensions
Taking the lead on Section 20 notices
Experience required:
Experience required in Leasehold services
Experience working with customers within social housing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Knowledge of the Section 20 procedures
Knowledge of relevant housing legislation
Excellent communication with customers and team members
Full UK driver’s license
