Job description

Our client, based in Gloucestershire, is currently recruiting for a Planned Works Surveyor on a 3-month temporary rolling contract.

The position is due to start in June with interviews taking place on the 4th. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within Social Housing, working with Capital Works and Decarbonisation projects.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing large scale contracts to provide refurbishments and improvements to domestic properties
  • Ensuring that the Association’s upgrades are completed in line with pre-agreed Asset Management protocols
  • Taking the lead of budgetary and quality control for ongoing projects
  • Pre and post inspections following the work of contractors

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experienced surveying planned works
  • Experience within decarbonisation
  • Experience working with customers within housing

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm (flexible daily hours)
