Job description
We are currently partnering with a local government in the South East of England, who are recruiting for a Planned Maintenance Surveyor to join their growing team on a temporary basis.

This is a temporary position with a contract for 3 months. The hourly rate is negotiable dependent on experience.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Inspecting premises and communal areas when required to diagnose building faults and propose remedial actions
Specifying remedial works including structural defects
Forming accurate programmes of work for delivery
Engaging contractors to execute specified works in accordance with legislation and policies
Monitoring planned work schedules
Completing H&S inspections on Contractors
Carrying out post-inspections to ensure work is completed to a high standard
Monitoring, managing and controling the work of contractors
Experience required:
Experience required in all aspects of planned repairs delivery including decent homes work such as kitchen and roof replacement, structural repairs and other cyclical maintenance programmes
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Specialist Knowledge in Health and Safety regulations
Specialist Knowledge in Contract Administration Duties
Qualification: ONC in Building Studies or equivalent
Must hold a full UK driving license
