Neighbourhood Coordinator

Our client, based in London, is currently recruiting for a Neighbourhood Coordinator on a permanent basis. Our client is proud to have over 50 years’ experience in the social housing sector, providing award-winning campaigns to over 3,000 people in the country.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis, offering an annual salary of £26,464.54.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the sector and must have access to a car.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Ensure effective and efficient management of homes and services within a designated patch, working largely on own initiative without regular on-site supervision
  • Complete rent recovery duties including assessing rent statements and escalating rent arrears cases when necessary
  • Provide efficient and effective local management of void properties, allocations and carry out pre & post inspections
  • Liaise with contractors, dealing with repairs and maintenance, helping tenants to maximise their income from benefits
  • Coordinate viewings and preparare new tenancy packs
  • Carry out tenancy sign-ups, completing any other documentation
  • Make sure local housing services sustain independent living for all tenants
  • Maintain neighborhoods people want to live independently, and neighborhoods that both disabled and non-disabled tenants can share and enjoy

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum two years’ housing experience
  • Driving license ESSENTIAL
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience using CRM

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
