Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority, who are based in Cheltenham, who are recruiting for a Planned Works/Contracts Manager on a temporary three-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The daily rate of pay is negotiable up to £300 via an Umbrella company.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Overseeing a reroofing project for the organisation

  • Undertaking contract administration such as chairing meetings, sub-contractor performance review and liaising with external companies

  • Delivering planned works in-line with regulations and the decent homes standard

  • Managing both contractors and subcontractors, carrying out one to ones and performance reviews using KPIs

  • Completing post inspections, and tenant satisfaction surveys to ensure tenant satisfaction

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing

  • Experience working with customers within housing

  • Experience overseeing multi-million pound projects

  • Experience working in adherence with the decent homes standard
