We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Exeter, who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join the Development Finance team on a nine month fixed term contract.

This will be a full-time position with hybrid working and a salary of £44,100 - £49,000 per annum (FTE).

The ideal candidate will be qualified and have previous experience in a similar role.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Producing monthly management accounts including balance sheets and P&L for the Open Market Sales

• Preparing statutory accounts and quarterly VAT Returns

• Supporting with month and year end duties as required

• Liaising with senior management and Directors, attending and presenting reports at strategic meetings

• Identifying and challenging any issues with data

• Acting as a point of contact for a Finance Assistant

• Completing monthly KPIs and performance reporting

• Supporting with the production of annual business plans

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• CCAB qualified or qualified by experience

• Experienced with multiple complex accounting systems
