Our client, a Housing Association based across Hampshire, is looking for an Independent Living Partner to join their team on either a 3-month temporary or permanent contract

The position is due to start on the 25th of March on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with elderly residents, hold an enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years and also have access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Tenancy management for elderly residents 55+ in leasehold or independent living schemes

• Carrying out viewings, sign ups, voids and mutual exchanges

• Conduct fire risk assessments and ensure the schemes are health and safety complaint

• Monitor alarm systems and pull cords

• Advise residents on welfare and benefits available

Experience required:

• Experience with housing management

• A practical knowledge of health and safety management

• Anti-social behavior management, repairs and maintenance

• Experience of undertaking risk assessments

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Demonstrable knowledge of current housing legislation

• Awareness of Health and Safety Regulations and data protection legislation

• Proficient skills in Microsoft suite, Word and Excel

• Mon-Fri 8am-4pm

• 37 hours per week
