We are currently working in partnership with a Not-for-Profit Organisation based in Bedfordshire, who are recruiting for a HR Recruitment Assistant on a temporary four-week contract. The position is due to start immediately, with hybrid working one to two days per week. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment and onboarding. They must also have a basic DBS certificate, or be happy to have one carried out.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Review permanent and fixed term offers and ensure roles and online verification checks are progressing
Navigate the onboarding and background check portal, ensuring DBS and references are on track for start times and start dates
Identify and flag any concerns regarding references, DBS checks or other relevant matters
Send out offer letters and contract documentation as and when required
Ensure reference checks are sent off promptly and follow up as needed
Work and collaborate with Hiring Managers, providing timely updates on progression
Monitor and manage the recruitment inbox and general admin as needed
Update records on iTrent, Network and Know Your Candidate systems
Experience, knowledge and expertise required:
Experience required in Recruitment and Onboarding
Experience conducting pre-employment checks
37 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
