We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Portishead, who are recruiting for a Electrician on a permanent basis.

The position is due to start early April, this an urgent position to be filled! The salary for the role is £39,264.00 per annum, you will also receive a van and a fuel card with this role.

The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out responsive repairs, electrical testing and ensuring adherence with Health and Safety Regulations.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing quality rewires, repairs and inspections as received on a PDA

• Having an understanding, and carrying out electrical installation works of both 240v and 400v systems

• Diagnosing/repairing faults, and carrying out the final tests, concluding with the production of EICR certificates

• Installing/maintaining energy saving/carbon reducing electrical technology

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience carrying out electrical testing and inspecting

• Experience carrying out both planned and reactive electrical works

• Experience working with customers within housing
