We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Kent, who are recruiting for an Electrician on a permanent basis paying up to £42,000 per annum plus a van + fuel card.

 The position is due to start as soon as possible and is a full time role working 42.5 hours per week, a basic DBS and a Full UK driving license will be required.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: NVQ LEVEL 3, 18TH EDITION, 2391 TEST AND INSPECTION.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Installing, servicing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in line with the current edition of the IET Wiring Regulations
• Carrying out installation, inspection, testing, and repair of electrical systems, with the ability to accurately complete Electrical Certificates and Electrical Condition Reports
• Undertaking EICRs and associated remedial works in void properties, as well as completing day-to-day repair tasks
• Delivering reactive maintenance works in accordance with agreed specifications
• Proactively updating the Supervisor where additional trade support is required
• Working collaboratively with other operatives to successfully deliver projects

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• Experience working with customers within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• NVQ LEVEL 3
• 18TH EDITION
• 2391 TEST AND INSPECTION
