We are currently working in partnership with Local Authority based in Surrey, who are recruiting for a Damp & Mould Surveyor on a temporary 3-month contract. The position is due to start immediately.

The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £38 per hour via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have access to their own vehicle and have prior social housing or local authority experience.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Conducting comprehensive surveys of properties to identify damp and mould issues

• Utilising moisture meters, hygrometers, and other diagnostic tools to measure dampness

• Preparing detailed reports outlining findings, causes, and recommended actions

• Overseeing remedial works carried out by contractors, ensuring they meet industry standards

• Maintaining accurate records of surveys, reports, and remedial actions

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working with customers within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Excellent knowledge of Damp & Mould Legislation
