Job description
Our client, based in Brixton, is currently recruiting for a Criminal Justice Link Worker on a 2-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with ex-offender and those struggling with substance misuse issues, hold an enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years taken out within the last three years and be comfortable working within prisons.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Conducting initial assessments
Ensuring that clients attend appointments
Explaining the service to people who are about to leave custody
Liaising with medical staff to ensure that the care being received is acceptable
Experience required:
Experience working with ex-offenders
Experience working with people with substance misuse issues
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Risk assessment and management
Financial management and budgeting
Compliance and due diligence
Working hours:
37.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
