​We are currently working in partnership with a Not-for-Profit based in Caerphilly, who are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant on a temporary 2-3 month initial contract. The position is due to start ASAP, and the hourly rate is £27 per hour Umbrella.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified/part qualified accountant or qualified by experience, with the ability to travel into the office once a week.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

·         Performing bank reconciliations and overseeing cash management

·         Preparing management accounts and MI packs for internal and external stakeholder reporting

·         Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning

·         Supporting statutory filings and compliance (VAT, PAYE, HMRC)

·         Providing high quality financial data across a range of projects to enable informed decision making

·         Completing balance sheet reconciliations, posting journals and making any necessary corrections

·         Maintaining the fixed asset register, including recognition of profit/loss on disposals

Experience required:

·         Experience in the production of management accounts

·         Experience maintaining a large fixed asset register

·         Ability to demonstrate excellent business partnering capabilities
