Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a local council based in Surrey, who are looking to appoint an ASB Officer on a permanent contract.
This will be a full-time position, offering a salary of £39,000 - £40,000 per annum plus additional benefits.
The ideal candidate will have experience attending court and an Enhanced DBS.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing a complex caseload of ASB complaints
- Pursuing legal action such as injunctions and possessions
- Preparing court documents and representing the organisation in court
- Attending MARAC meetings and working alongside the police
- Taking witness statements
- Mediating in ASB cases to help prevent escalation
- Advising the housing team on low-level management
Experience required:
- Experience representing an organisation in court
- Experience dealing with high level ASB cases
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Working hours:
- 37.5 a week
- Monday – Friday
- 9am-5pm
