Job description
Our client, a Local Authority based in the North-West, is currently recruiting for a locum Adult Social Care Lawyer on an initial 3-month contract.
The position is due to start immediately and the hourly rate is negotiable, subject to PQE and candidate expectations.
The role can be conducted predominantly from home, with court attendance required, and previous Local Government experience will be essential for the role.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Acting in court of protection matters
Preparing and representing the organisation in court of protection matters
Advising on all aspects of adult safeguarding law
Advising on plans and assessments for vulnerable adults
Advising on the duties of the organisation under the Care Act
Experience required:
Strong Adult Social Care experience
Relevant Professional Qualification – Solicitor, Barrister, FCILEX
Working hours:
3 days per week
