Job description

 

Our client, based in Surrey, is currently recruiting for a Tenancy Manager on a 6-month temporary contract with the opportunity to go permanent.

The position is due to start in December on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have strong tenancy management experience and experience of managing a team.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a team of four Housing Officers
  • Overseeing estate services and ensuring compliance with SLAs, tenancy conditions, rent arrears processes, ASB policies and progressing cases to legal action when required
  • Promoting tenancy sustainability by signposting residents to support services, building strong partnerships, engaging with communities, and encouraging resident involvement
  • Conducting regular quality assurance checks, monitoring team and individual performances, and taking timely action to address issues

Experience required:

  • Experience working within a Local Council
  • Experience managing a team

 

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Effective leadership skills
  • Ability to respond well to challenging circumstances

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 5 days a week
  • 2 days WFH
