We are proud to be partnering with an organisation in Essex, who are looking to appoint a Accommodation Officer on a 3-month contract.

This will be a full-time position with a rate that is negotiable depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar position, a full UK drivers licence and access to a vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Assessing and allocating emergency accommodation for homeless applicants in line with policy and statutory duties
• Coordinating and allocating suitable temporary accommodation placements
• Conducting tenancy visits to monitor property condition, tenancy compliance, and provide tenant support
• Managing a portfolio of properties, ensuring effective tenancy sustainment and property standards

Experience required:

• Experience providing housing advice
• Experience working with a housing association or council

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
