We are proud to be partnering with an award-winning, South-West based Housing Association, who are looking to appoint a permanent Fire Risk Officer.

This will be a full-time position based regionally across the South West, with mileage paid from home, requiring two days a week on site and three days from home, offering a salary of £43,443 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have experience completing FRAs in line with PAS 79.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Liaising with external bodies such as contractors, local government and fire authorities, ensuring regular inspections are conducted on all dwellings and communal areas
• Undertaking FRAs according to PAS 79
• Producing reports following FRAs
• Managing action plans that come as a result of FRAs
• Audit FRAs carried out by 3^rd party assessors
• Maintaining an up to date database of FRAs
• Assisting with specs of work when actioning fire risk assessments

Experience required:

• FRA experience
• Experience managing the work of contractors
