Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a local council based in Surrey, who are looking to appoint a Landlord Services Manager on a 6-month temporary contract.

This will be a full-time position with a negotiable day rate.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a group of managers and in-depth understanding of relevant legislation.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading, developing and managing a number of teams which will include; tenancy management officers in both general and sheltered needs, rents team and rent admin
  • Managing tenancy breaches, contractual change requests, and compliance matters
  • Driving service improvement initiatives and delivering right-first-time resolutions with tenant engagement at the forefront of any improvement initiatives
  • Embedding the standards of the Social Housing regulator into every aspect of the team

Experience required:

  • Experience managing line managers and conducting 1-2-1’s
  • Experience in all areas of tenancy management, rents and ASB

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage and encourage teams to highest standards

Working hours:

  • 37.5 a week
  • Monday – Friday
  • 9am-5pm
