Job description
We are currently partnering with a prominent Housing Association.
In pursuit of excellence, we are actively seeking a permanent position as Income Officer. This will be 4 days working from and one day in Wiltshire.
Salary of £33,600 per annum, with 27 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and offering a comprehensive training and developing programme.
Duties will include:
Monitoring and managing caseloads of current rent, service chare, council tax and assets accounts
Maintaining a proactive approach to recover and prevent rent arrars through the management of indivual rent arraers cases
Dealing with mid to high level rent arrears and making cases requiring escalation and/or legal actions
Providing advice to clients for rent arrears, welfare benefits, budgeting and liaising with colleagues, police, social services and other external agencies
Attending court when required, drafting and completing NOSP’s and NTQ’s
Chasing outstanding tenant arrears, monitoring rent accounts and former tenant arrears
Delivering debt and complex benefit advice to maximize customers income and tenancy sustainment
