Our client, based in East London, is currently recruiting for a HR Business partner on a 3-month contract. The role would be working with a multi-site educational body.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within education, have comprehensive business partnering skills and be able to confidently write HR policy.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Embedding HR policies and procedures across the organisation to ensure compliance and consistency

• Providing proactive HR partnering, coaching and support to managers across the employee lifecycle

• Advising on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases

• Coaching and guiding managers through casework, attending hearings and issuing documentation

• Building strong relationships with stakeholders to support operational and strategic objectives

• Leading redundancy consultations and supporting restructures and organisational change

• Producing and analysing HR data and reports to inform decision-making

• Identifying and mitigating HR risks, escalating issues where appropriate

Experience required:

• Experience desirable in education

• 3 years’ experience working with customers within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Used iTrent

• Policy writing

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
