Job description

We are currently partnering with a public sector organisation who are looking to appoint a Finance Transformation Manager on an initial six-month contract.

It will be a mainly working from home assignment, and the day rate is from £750 (inside IR35).

Duties include:

  • Providing leadership on the design and delivery of a company wide finance improvement programme

  • Encouraging change to achieve long term financial stability

  • Promoting a strong culture of financial management and accountability

  • Benchmarking and identifying professional and operational standards

  • Liaising with, influencing and challenging senior stakeholders, both internal and external

  • Managing multiple improvement workstreams across a wide range of disciplines

Experience required:

  • Handling transformation projects within public sector

  • Confident working in challenging environment

  • Able to encourage long term financial stability

Working pattern:

  • 5 days per week

  • Mainly working from home (dependent on business need)
