Job description

Our client, based in Hampshire, is currently recruiting for a Complaints Officer on a short-term temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately. The hourly rate is £24 per hour via Umbrella.

The ideal candidate will be an individual with excellent communication skills and a great phone manner.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customer complaints, acknowledging issues and setting clear expectations.

  • Investigating complaints thoroughly and determine fair, evidence-based outcomes

  • Communicating decisions clearly to customers and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing

  • Building effective relationships with internal teams and external partners, including regulators and contractors

  • Providing constructive feedback to colleagues and teams to support service improvement.

  • Identifying and recommend improvements to systems, processes, and policies

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Good organisational and time management skills

  • Experience resolving complaints or negative consumer feedback

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Working hours:

  • 37 hours a week

  • Monday – Friday

  • 9:00 – 17:00
