Job description
We are proud to be partnering with a major educational body in South London, who are looking to appoint a HR Change Business Partner on a 6-month FTC, with a second 6-month FTC project scheduled afterward.
This will be a full-time position, with hybrid working (1/2 days home working) and a salary of £52,500 to £60,000 per annum and £63,500 to £71,000 per annum if specifically ran an education focused redundancy process.
The ideal candidate will have extensive consultation experience and ideally have experience working within the education sector.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
•Ensuring redundancy and restructuring exercises adhered to HE employment legislation, ACAS guidance, best-practice consultation and internal policies
•Providing expert advice to managers on organisational design, restructuring options, role design and workforce implications
•Leading and supporting formal and informal consultation processes, including collective consultation with recognised trade unions
•Preparing consultation documentation including business cases, FAQs, risk logs, equality impact assessments and manager/staff briefings
•Engaging proactively with managers, trade union representatives and staff to build shared understanding of change programmes
•Developing clear and sensitive communications for staff and managers at each stage of the change process
Experience required:
•Experience required handling redundancy
•Experience working in Education
Skills, knowledge and expertise desired:
•CIPD L7
•Union exposure
•Compliance and due diligence

Working hours:
•35 hours per week
