​Our client, a City Council based in the West Midlands, is currently recruiting for an Education Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis for 3-months initially.

The position is due to start immediately, and offers remote working and a rate of up to £55 p/hour UMB.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing sound and pragmatic legal advice to Officers and Members, in regards to complex Education related queries

• Handling a varied caseload of Education & SEN matters, and the associate drafting

• Advising the client in regards to a range of complex Tribunal cases, and covering hearings in front of the SEN Tribunal as required
