Job description
Our client, based in Birmingham, is currently recruiting for two Administration Assistants to join their team within the Social Housing sector on a six-month fixed-term contract.
The positions are due to start immediately and are offered on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong administrative skills to support a busy Housing department.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Completing accurate data entry within the Housing department to support day-to-day operations
- Providing general administrative support, including scanning, indexing, photocopying, and printing
- Identifying property or neighbourhood-related issues and ensuring these are passed to the relevant service area
- Monitoring internal systems and ensuring records are kept up to date at all times
- Responding to customer enquiries received via the Contact Centre, digital self-service portal, telephone, email, written correspondence, and face-to-face
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Experience working within Social Housing or a customer-focused environment (desirable)
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Risk assessment and management
- Strong organisational and data entry skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- Good IT skills and confidence using internal systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Working hours:
- 37.50 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm
