Job description
Our client, based in East London, is currently recruiting for a 2 Support Workers on a 3 month temporary to permanent contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, and the hourly rate is up to £21 per hour.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults, hold a enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years taken out within the last three years.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Manage a caseload of 18 clients, primarily refugees, providing tailored support based on individual needs
- Conduct pre-assessments and in-depth initial assessments using probing questions to identify support requirements
- Develop and implement move-on plans to help clients transition to independent living
- Signpost clients to external services including ESOL courses, e-visa support, colleges, and employment opportunities.
- Provide welfare and benefits advice in partnership with relevant agencies.
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working with vulnerable people
Working hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
