Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Payroll and Benefits Officer for a long-standing client of ours based in Surrey.
This is a full time, 2 month temporary role (with strong possibility of extension), with hybrid working (3-4 days per week from home). They offer flexible hours and have said they are open to candidates who want more home working than this too. The day rate is negotiable depending on experience, but is likely to be around £250 p/d.
iTrent experience is essential.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Supporting monthly payroll and benefits delivery for c. 550 employees using iTrent
Inputting, verifying and processing payroll data for starters, leavers, changes etc.
Ensuring all payroll activity compliers with HMRC regulations, Local Government Pension Scheme and statutory employment law
Administering LGPS and other pension scheme contributions
Contributing to improvement of payroll processes, forms and systems
Maintaining accurate payroll records within the HR/payroll systems
Experience required:
iTrent experience
3-5 years in payroll
Working hours:
37 hours per week, with flexibility to work between 7.30am and 7.30pm
3-4 days per week home working – there may be scope for more than this though
