We are currently working in partnership with a Charitable Housing Association based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Support Worker on a temporary 3-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay can pay up to £18.00 umbrella for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have a background supporting clients who have complex needs and have an understanding within supported housing.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Working with and supporting clients who have repeatedly been homeless and have substance misuse needs
• Helping clients to achieve independent living and support themselves as much as possible
• Carrying out support plans and risk assessments
• Liaising with external agencies on a regulalr basis
• Signposting clients to relevant third party
• Helping with tenancy management related requirements such as ASB, sign ups, property inspections
• Carrying out one to one and group sessions

Experience required:

• Experience required in supported housing
• Complex needs background
• DBS within the past 12 months or update service

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
