We are currently working in partnership with one of the largest homeless social enterprises based in London, who are recruiting for a Support & Outreach Worker on a one month rolling contract.

The position is due to start immediately with an hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £18 via an Umbrella company.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Pro-actively work with others to enable them to increase their income

• Undertake outreach, ensuring regular and appropriate contact with customers is built and sustained

• Actively recruit and induct venders by promoting the organisation

• Work across key areas with clients – housing, citizenship, financial, digital inclusion, wellbeing, education, training and employment

• Support a caseload of clients to remove poverty barriers that they face, and integrate back into the community

Experience required:

• Experience working with vulnerable clients facing poverty

​

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk assessment and management

• A compassionate personality and patience working with vulnerable persons rough sleeping on the streets

​

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm
