Job description

Our client, based in London is currently recruiting for x3 Stock Condition Surveyors on a 6-12 month temporary contract. Our client is an award winning, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, delivering projects throughout the UK and Europe.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The rates are:

  • £32 LTD per survey for Houses/Blocks

  • £22 LTD per survey for Flats

The ideal candidate will have a background in repairs and maintenance or building surveying and have knowledge of domestic energy assessments. They will also have Stock Condition Surveyor experience in social housing properties.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting stock condition surveys on social housing units to ensure buildings are designed and constructed appropriately

  • Understanding of domestic energy assessments in order to fill out a small number of questions in each of the surveys

  • Using knowledge and understanding of fire safety compliance including approved document part B

  • Recording all information and data on electronic handheld devices

  • Liaising and engaging with residents in regards to the work being carried out

  • Working in accordance with changing legislations, as well as H&S policies and procedures

Experience required:

  • Stock Condition Surveying experience for social housing properties

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Understanding of fire safety compliance and domestic energy assessments

  • Must hold a full UK driving license
