We are currently working in partnership with a social housing provider based in Lincolnshire, who are recruiting for three trades roles (Plumber, Carpenter, and Plasterer) on a temporary three-month contract. All three positions are due to start immediately and offer an hourly rate of up to £28 paid on an umbrella basis.

The ideal candidates will have proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a social housing environment, hold an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, and supply their own van and tools.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Plumber

• Carrying out plumbing repairs and installations within tenanted social housing properties
• Diagnosing and resolving faults such as leaks, blockages, and sanitary system issues
• Ensuring all plumbing work meets current regulations and safety standards

Carpenter

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining doors, frames, kitchens, and other timber fixtures within tenanted properties
• Carrying out first and second fix carpentry work to a high standard
• Measuring, cutting, and fitting materials accurately to specification

Plasterer

• Applying plastering work including patch repairs, skimming, and surface finishing within tenanted properties
• Preparing surfaces and ensuring a smooth, high-quality finish
• Repairing damaged walls and ceilings in occupied homes

Experience required:

• Demonstrating carpentry experience including first and second fix, installations and general repairs (Carpenter role)
• Applying plastering skills such as re-skimming, patch repairs and surface preparation (Plasterer role)
• Plumbing experience in installations, maintenance and fault finding (Plumber role)
• Bringing experience in a social housing environment as desirable across all roles
• Supporting multi-trade maintenance activities while managing workloads and delivering high-quality work and customer service

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm
