Job description

We are proud to be partnering with a multi-disciplinary specialist surveying firm, who are looking to appoint a Stock Condition Surveyor & Energy Performance Assessor on a permanent contract.

This will be a full-time position based in Kent, with a salary of around £40,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will hold a DEA Level 3 accreditation and have at least 18 months experience in stock condition surveying.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting stock condition surveys and domestic energy assessments on Social Housing units that are booked by the scheduling team

  • Ensuring buildings are designed and constructed so that there are appropriate provisions for the early warning of fire, and appropriate means of escape in case of fire from the building to a place of safety

  • Being knowledgeable of RdSAP in order to fill out a small number of questions in each of the surveys

  • Liaising with and engaging with residents in regards to work carried out

Experience required:

  • Level 3 Domestic Energy Accreditation

  • 18 months stock condition experience

  • Social housing experience desired

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Good communication skills

  • RdSAP knowledge
