We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based In South Manchester, who are recruiting for a Gas Services and Repairs Engineer on a temporary three-month contract. The position is due to start in the new year, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £27 CIS via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have an ACS Qualification, be Gas Safety Registered and have experience working in Social Housing.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Completing reactive maintenance on boilers and heating systems across a patch of Social Housing properties

• Ensuring all works are completed in line with British Industry standards

• Working with a PDA and ensuring all works are completed and following Health and Safety standards

• Ordering parts and raising invoices

• Working on a range of different Heating appliances including radiators and pipe works

• Liaising with residents in regards to Repairs that are due to be carried out

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working with customers within housing

• Servicing radiators and gas pipes

• Diagnosing Repairs

Working hours:

• 40 hours per week

• Monday to Friday/ 8-5 (Flexible working is available)
