Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a Senior Compliance Administrator on a three-month temporary contract.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple compliance tasks efficiently. They will be a confident communicator who works well with colleagues and external stakeholders to maintain high compliance standards.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing and maintaining compliance documentation and records, ensuring accuracy, identifying gaps or omissions, and keeping all information audit-ready through strong organisational oversight

  • Monitoring and tracking compliance deadlines and tasks, coordinating inspections, remedial works, and follow-up actions to ensure all activities are completed within required timeframes

  • Using and navigating compliance IT systems effectively to support data entry, reporting, dashboard updates, and workflow management for efficient compliance operations

  • Communicating clearly with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders, providing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring clarity around compliance requirements and processes

  • Applying regulatory knowledge and problem-solving skills to review certificates and reports, identify risks or non-compliance, support continuous improvement, and ensure procedures align with legal and sector standards

Experience required:

  • Experience working in a compliance, administrative, or housing-related environment, ideally within a Housing Association or other regulated sector

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage documentation, track deadlines, and maintain accurate compliance records

  • Confident in using IT systems and databases, including generating reports and navigating workflow or compliance platforms

  • Excellent communication skills, with experience liaising with colleagues, contractors, and external stakeholders to support compliance activities

  • High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability, identifying gaps or risks in documentation and supporting continuous improvement

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
