Job description

We are currently partnering with a Housing Association in Derbyshire, who are recruiting for a Scheme Manager to join their growing team on a temporary basis.

This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of pay of £18 via an Umbrella company and the start date is as soon as possible.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Carrying out regular home visits, welfare checks, and housing-related assessments

  • Supporting residents to maintain their independence, wellbeing, and quality of life throughout the village

  • Completing, reviewing, and updating support plans and risk assessments while maintaining accurate digital records

  • Responding promptly to housing issues, emergencies, and participating in out-of-hours callouts when required

  • Working collaboratively with managers, colleagues, care providers, and external agencies to meet resident needs

  • Coordinating and overseeing repairs, maintenance, and other property-related matters

  • Encouraging resident engagement, participation, and involvement in estate-based activities

  • Monitoring health, safety, and safeguarding concerns and escalating issues in line with organisational policies

  • Supporting residents with benefits, budgeting, and housing-related advice to help sustain tenancies

Experience required:

  • Experience working in a supported living, housing, care, or community-based setting

  • A background supporting vulnerable adults, including older people and/or individuals with additional support needs

  • Expertise in identifying and responding to safeguarding, health, and safety concerns in line with policy and procedure

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week

  • Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm

  • One weekend worked every three weeks
