Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a public sector organisation based in Liverpool, who are recruiting for a Recruitment Officer on a 6-month temporary contract.
The hourly rate of pay is a £22.20 per hour and it offers 2 days home working.
The ideal candidate MUST have previous experience using the Tribepad system.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Providing professional recruitment advice, guidance, and support to hiring managers and applicants, ensuring compliance with Council policies, employment legislation, and HR best practice
- Managing end-to-end recruitment activity using ATS systems, including advertising vacancies through appropriate channels and supporting managers throughout the process
- Operating and advising on internal recruitment, applicant tracking, HR/Payroll systems, and external suppliers, ensuring accurate and efficient use following training
- Coordinating and completing pre-employment checks, including eligibility to work, references, DBS applications, and medical clearances, ensuring timely and compliant onboarding
- Acting as a brand ambassador by representing the organisation at job fairs, employment events, schools, universities, and community engagement activities, promoting opportunities to a diverse range of candidates
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Demonstrable experience of providing a first-class quality customer service in a busy and fast paced environment
- A sound understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes including vetting and barring process.
- Experience in using applicant tracking or e-recruitment systems (Tribepad)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work and communicate with managers of all different levels both verbally and presentation wise
- Good ICT skills and confident with Microsoft Office tools and working knowledge of using AI
Working hours:
- 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
