Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Social Housing Provider based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for two Property Coordinators on temporary contracts of six and nine months. The position is due to start immediately and is paying an hourly rate of £13.68 - £15.00 per hour on a PAYE basis including holiday pay or the equivalent on an umbrella basis.
The ideal candidates will have experience of working within planned or reactive maintenance environments, building strong relationships with residents and contractors, managing accurate property and compliance records, and delivering reliable administrative and customer‑focused support within a housing or asset‑management setting.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Supporting a Retrofit Building Surveyor and the Planned Works Department
- Liaising with customers and contractors effectively in regards to the ongoing programmes
- Dealing with leaseholder queries accurately and effectively
- Processing job completions and invoices/valuations
- Updating the property database accurately on job completions and schedules for future works to be carried out
- Dealing with general administrative duties, including sending out letters to tenants
- Providing an all-round high standard of service to customers, contractors and clients
Experience required:
- Experience supporting surveyors or planned works teams, including coordinating retrofit or improvement programmes
- Proven ability to liaise confidently with tenants, leaseholders, contractors, and internal teams throughout ongoing works
- Skilled in handling leaseholder queries, processing job completions, and managing invoices or valuations accurately
- Confident updating property databases and maintaining accurate records of completed works and future schedules
- Strong administrative background, including preparing tenant correspondence and delivering a consistently high standard of customer service
Working hours:
- 37 hours per week
- Monday - Friday
- Hybrid working - one day a week in the office once trained
