Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a Planner on a temporary six-week contract with the potential to be extended. The position is due to start immediately, with a negotiable hourly rate of pay dependant on experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and scheduling surveys, managing work orders, communicating effectively with customers and internal teams, maintaining compliance and health and safety standards, and demonstrating strong IT, organisational and analytical skills with previous experience using Total Repairs systems.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Monitoring and arranging any surveys as soon as they are required, ensuring diaries are booked 10 days ahead
- Contacting customers ahead of survey dates to arrange appointments
- Raising and managing work orders in systems for internal and subcontracted works
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standard throughout planning processes
- Providing administrative and logistical support to other teams as required
- Attending weekly and monthly planning and progress meetings
Experience and Expertise required:
- Experience planning and scheduling surveys, ensuring surveyor diaries are booked and productive
- Skilled in raising and managing work orders and using housing or compliance systems
- Strong communication skills, arranging customer appointments and coordinating with internal teams
- Able to maintain compliance and health and safety standards across all planning activities
- Strong IT, organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to work flexibly and support wider teams
Working hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday - Friday
- Hybrid working - 3 days per week
