Job description
Our client, based in Hampshire, is currently recruiting for a Planned Programme Project Supervisor on a 6-month fixed term contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary on offer is up to £44,997.42 depending on experience.There is up to 3 days per week working from home and the possibility for this role to become permanent.
Due to the nature of the role, the client is looking for someone who has knowledge and experience of managing planned programmes of works and projects.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Manage multiple projects as directed by Senior Asset Delivery manager
- Undertake contract management of internal and external partners to ensure that works are delivered as required to cost, quality and time targets
- Develop forecasts/plans of works delivery against which progress will be monitored
- Carry out regular review meetings ensuring KPI's are being met
- Ensure that the required certification and information is gathered for internal and external purposes are correct, accurate and correctly filed
- Ensure that all H&S measures are in place, including but not limited to, CDMs and RAMS
- Produce monthly highlight reports as part of project process, providing statement of progress, what actions are planned and an update of any risks to project delivery
- To ensure that the financial position of projects is clearly understood, taking into account commitments, spend to date and WIP
Experience required:
- Experience in procurement
- Worked in a similar role previously, ideally in a social housing setting
- Experience in a housing or construction related management role.
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Knowledge and experience of managing planned programmes of works and projects
- Knowledge and experience of successfully managing contractors
- Understanding of the social housing environment, including regulation and emerging government policy
- Good commercial awareness and financial understanding
