We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established Housing Association in the West Midlands who are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join their expanding team on a three-month temporary contract.

This role offers a competitive day rate of £220 CIS, along with the use of a company van and fuel card, enabling you to carry out your work efficiently across the region.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out painting and decorating tasks, including mould washes, stain blocking, surface preparation, and applying paints using brushes, rollers or spray equipment

• Delivering high-quality finishes in occupied social housing, working with the Damp and Mould Team to ensure safe and effective solutions

• Travelling between job sites, ensuring timely arrival, clear communication with residents, and excellent customer service

• Maintaining tools and equipment, following all health and safety procedures, and using appropriate protective gear

• Completing work to agreed standards and deadlines, including occasional wallpaper hanging, while keeping residents updated on progress

Experience required:

• Experience working within Social Housing, including occupied properties, with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service to residents

• Ability to carry out effective risk assessments, follow safety procedures, and maintain compliance and due diligence across all tasks

• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and complete multiple tasks to a high standard within set timeframes

• Good communication skills and confidence working with internal teams and external customers, including handling challenging or sensitive situations professionally

• Competent IT user with knowledge of Microsoft Office, alongside a valid UK driving licence for travel between sites
