Job description

We are currently partnering with a Housing Association based in Staffordshire, who are recruiting for a Lettings Officer to join their team on a 4-week temporary contract. This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9am-5pm), with an hourly rate of £27.00 per hour via an Umbrella company.

The successful candidate must have previous experience of dealing with allocations in a housing setting and hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting viewings of vacant properties and completing tenancy sign-ups for new residents

  • Carrying out property inspections prior to tenancy commencement

  • Verifying and reviewing identification documentation during the sign-up process

  • Scanning and processing tenancy sign-up documentation

  • Accurately saving and maintaining records within the organisation's CRM system

  • Uploading and setting up new tenancies on internal systems

  • Providing ad hoc administrative support, including uploading data and utility meter readings to relevant portals

  • Uploading and maintaining CORE data in line with regulatory requirements

Expertise required:

  • Previous experience working within Social Housing, specifically in a lettings or allocations capacity

  • Experience completing tenancy sign-ups and property inspections

  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to accurately maintain records

  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday - Friday

  • 9am - 5pm
