We are currently engaged in a collaborative partnership with a successful Local Government.

Striving for excellence, we are actively seeking a 3month (ongoing) temporary position as Income Manager. This will be a full-time position based in Cardiff

Rate of up to £30 per hour via umbrella, Ideal candidate will have extensive experience of Income and great understanding of Local Governments

Duties will include:

Ø  Leading the Council’s Housing Income Management and Money Advice Service ensuring the service fully staffed and operational

Ø  Undertaking full line management responsibility for the staff in the Councils Housing Income Management and Money Advice Service

Ø  Providing leadership, direction and motivation completing staff training where necessary in both groups, on a one-to-one basis, staff appraisals and setting KPI’s

Ø  Maximising the Councils housing relating income whilst ensuring a sensitive and sympathetic approach to tenants in genuine hardship

Ø  Delivering an effective debt monitoring and management service

Ø  Delivering a high quality, effective and confidential Money Advice Service

Ø  Contributing fully to the delivery of all Housing Services particularly in relation Housing Income Management Housing Income Management

Ø  Providing support fully towards the Council’s Core Objectives and Housing & Building Services Plan

Ø  Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Ø  37 hours per week
